Ferro-manganese is used mainly in the steel industry for hardening and desulphurisation of steel and as a deoxidizer, making the slag more fluid. Main classification: high carbon ferromanganese (containing carbon 7%), medium carbon ferromanganese (containing carbon 1.0~1.5%), low carbon ferromanganese (containing carbon 0.5%), manganese metal, mirror iron, silicon manganese alloy.
